If you've followed method 2 then you have to place the code and add the Analytics ID within the settings.

If you've followed first method, then only add the Analytics script within your template, you don't need to do the steps in second method.

Do you think it will make a problem if I put the code and my analytics id on the settings? Or is it okay to put them together.

What I want to ask is "If I put your analytics id on the settings, do I still need to add the tracking code on my analytics account? Does it automatically track my traffic if I only put the analytics Id to the settings without adding the code?
