I have enabled official share buttons from blogger but they never showed up in my blog. No idea why.
Then I found your tutorials and I have to thank you for that. I managed to add the ’like’ and ‘+1’ buttons but I’m not quite satisfied with the outcome. I want ‘like’ on the left and ‘+1” blow it left as well. Tried various codes but didn’t work.

Thanks for your response! It seems very unusual to have to disable the share buttons in order for the +1 button to work. I went ahead and disabled the share buttons, like you said, but it seems weird why the other share buttons cannot also work simultaneously?

I have found out that for some reason, if you have enabled official share buttons from blogger, this method will not work. So you have to disable the official share buttons to get custom +1 button.
