Google translation for your blog is now made easy with the use of flags. Add a Google Translator widget with mini flags to Blogger.
With the help of Google Translate and by adding flags to it, this widget in HTML, allows your visitors to translate your site and blog in their own languages.
Features:
- Translate widget with mini Flags for Blogger
- Coded in HTML, no JavaScript used so that it can also be viewed with Lynx based browsers which are unable to load script files.

ReplyDeleteWhere can I find one that translate from spanish to other languages??
Updated the post.
ReplyDeleteThis widget should work with Spanish languages.
thanks Raju, woooonderful!
ReplyDeletethanks! for sharing. Actually the translate widget is a must have widget for all blogs. your blog is a great source of information. :)
ReplyDeleteBlogger is not showing the flags today -- I tried reinstalling the widget, but all I get are the names of the languages. When I try to see the image I get a 401 error.
ReplyDeleteFixed it.
ReplyDeleteI like this widget. It has a simple elegance. I need to add a Greek flag to the widget for my blog to be complete. I'm assuming I just add another section: ...;tl=el&... and add a square 24px Greek flag .png image source URL.
ReplyDeleteIf you have time perhaps you'd like to do it. I hate adding my stuff to your widget.
Thanks!
Okay, I will add the Greek language with flag on my next update.
ReplyDeleteany chance you could do Swahili? :)
ReplyDeleteI will try (on next version).
ReplyDeletethanks alot for ur widget,so i wanna put on my blog...nice info
ReplyDeletei get error when i use the other languages . Only american works fine .
ReplyDeleteIt would create this type of problem when the page (or blog) is already translated to user preferred language and he is trying to translate to other language from the translated page. I've visited your blog and it's working fine from non translated pages.
ReplyDeleteWorking superbly when translating from English. Takes five minutes or so to percolate through the Google system, so early testings might give error messages. Once it settles down, it all works just fine.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks.
Hey, i was trying to put it on my Slovak blog, but it doesnt work. When i try to translate to english, it says the site is already in english....

Hemlax, if your blog gets translated to English beforehand then again translating to English can create these types of problems. Also check that you have selected the proper language under Blogger Settings > Language and Formatting.
ReplyDeletei've been looking all over for this. turned out google widget is not working in their own blogger..
ReplyDeletebut is there a way to choose which language to add?
thanks!
